Mossberg #51773 Magpul Edition

I purchased one a few months ago. I own the 20" barrel, ghost ring, 9 shot with magpul furniture factory installed. This model seems to have been a big hit. A few of my coworkers have been looking for the same model but It seems it has been discontinued.

Just curious why a model that is very popular would be discontinued?

Most of these special editions are only available for a limited time. A lot of it has to do with contract terms that are negotiated for a certain duration and do not get renewed for one reason or another...
