Been thinking of one of these for the wife thought the 20" barrel instead of the 28 I shoot would be good for her to shoot clays how much barrel raise are you guys getting 20 com paired to 28 I understand it's not a huge difference but it will shift the balance point

Shooter, I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but that's not an SPX.

It's a 590A1 with Mossberg's ghost rings - that gun is item #51663



The 590A1 SPX has LPA Ghost ring front and rear sights, a picatinny rail, a ported barrel and it should include an Ontario M9 bayonet and scabbard - it's item # 50771

Granted, the differences between the two are mostly cosmetic, and they're both damn fine shotguns.
 
That is correct...the original box does say Item #51663.

The M9 bayonet, Picatinny rail, and ported barrel would make it an SPX...
 
That's the shotgun I wanted, but my local gun store had that withy the 18.5" barrel or the 20" with Magpul furniture version... I went with the 20" Magpul version a few weeks ago.
