Well I took my 88 out and put some rounds through it. Others have said the 88 seems to kick a lot. I'd hate to shoot it without the Phoenix Recoil Reducing stock on it. I know it kicks way less then the 12 gauge Winchester SXP I had before. Not sure if I like the cheek rest though. It seemed to transfer a lot of the kick to your cheek and was rough feeling. Since it is more for tactical use I'll probably take it off. My 88 functioned flawlessly. The stock also performed as advertised. All and all I love the upgrade.
