New 835

I purchased a new 835 two weeks ago. Since the first shot, when I eject the fired round the second round discharges from the tube but the elevator will not raise it to allow it to be chambered. It does it with both 2 3/4" and 3" Help!!!

Not to sound snooty, but we need to do a process of elimination first since we don't know how much of hands on with shotty's you have based on only 1 post....

Are you familiar with shotguns?

is this your first shotty?

Have you field stripped (take apart) it to remove/clean it before firing it?

Is this 835 new from a big box store? or a local gun shop?

What name brand of shells are you using?
