Old-timer from NE Georgia

I have been a lurker here and decided to take the plunge. I am a retiree, old-timer from NE Georgia. I just picked up a new Mossberg 590 Shockwave this past week and came on here to garner some information on it and the other versions of the 590. I had a 590 when with the PD and Sheriff over the years and decided I liked it better than the Remington 870, due to the tang-safety. So, we shall see how the Shockwave treats me.

I am married with two grown sons. Two small dogs keep my time busy.

I've never shot a 590 myself, but I own a 500 & I love it.

It taught me to never carry 12ga and 16ga shells in the same pocket though.
