OR3GUN Marine Spacer Tube for Mossberg 930/935

I have a Mossberg 930 SPX Blackwater that has been completely treated with Frog Lube. I have the original MST and have no issues. I just ordered the new multi-use MST and noticed it has a Teflon additive in the anodizing. Should the new MST be treated with the frog lube or is it good to go as is?

KRBRAND, the Teflon finish on the new MST will be all you need. With JM Pro internals you can even run the gas system completely dry. A little rust protection on the magazine tube/piston itself on an SPX will be all you need.

FNFAL88, we have two dealers set up so far on the Oregon coast.

In Coos Bay, Empire Firearms LLC is our dealer.

In Bandon, FCS Protection Services LLC is our dealer.

We're hoping to work our way further up and down the coast this spring, but are trying to keep them a good 25 miles or so apart.

Thank you for Your. I just ordered the multi-use tube for my 930. Should I buy the competition version for when I'm shooting lighter loads (ie. Federal bulk Walmart special 8 shot)?

The Multi-Use MST should work fine with the 1200 FPS bulk loads. The Competition MST (,depending on the tolerances of your gun,) will usually run the 1145 FPS and even lighter loads with success.

I just got the Multi-Use MST in the mail yesterday. I will say it looks and feels like a quality part. I haven't had a chance to use either one, but when I do, they will both go to the range with me.

I just received mine today. I agree Pawpaw the quality feels superior to the blue MST. I usually run the 1600 fps slugs and magnum buckshot so that's the reason I ordered the multi-use MST even though I've had no problems with the original. The surface of the multi-use even feels slicker than the blue MST.

Thanks, I just received my multi-use today in the mail. I to say that it is a well built part and I'm impressed by the quality of it. I going to try to see if I can get to the range today. My range buddy has been giving me grief for buying a 930 over a saiga 12. I feel, if this tube works as advertised I'll be enjoying shooting cheap light loads as he's clearing malfunctions. Now I can can give him grief. Thanks again for a great product.

We appreciate the feedback. We realize that we're solving a function problem with an internal part, but still wanted to step up the finish beyond its humble purpose.

I haven't seen many Saigas in matches lately. Only a few allow box-fed guns, but I always saw the constant malfunction clearance of the Saiga to be a big turn-off to trying to compete with one. May your Mossberg show the Saiga the way to functioning enlightenment.

I finally had a chance to test out my 930 SPX after I did some work on it and installed the original MST. The thing ran like a Swiss watch, only louder.

I ran it with some 8-pellet Federal FliteControl 00 low recoil and some of the Estate ammo I got from Midway. With either load, I could dump 8 rounds in about 2.5 seconds with no malfunctions of any kind. The multi-use MST is still in my range bag.

That's pretty quick! I'm a lefty with a shotgun by eye dominance, not handedness. I can muster a single pair with around a .15 split, but my finger doesn't want to do 6 or 8 rounds anywhere near that fast.

You guys just talked me into getting a multi-use MST for my Blackwater 930 SPX...... just ordered. No problem with the original stock spacer, but just can't resist getting my hands on some of the aftermarket items that improve form & function that i read about on this forum......

Cool vid! I especially liked the way your SPX just ate up those cheap Winchesters and spit 'em right out. That's why I ordered one, I want the ability to cycle just about anything I feed her.
