I know that's just photoshopped, but I can't determine whether that underbarrel shotgun would be classified as an SBS short barrel shotgun (because of the 50 cal stock it's attached to), or if it would be classified as a DD destructive device (like the Knights Masterkey).

No, you are over thinking this. When I registered it, I declared it as single weapon. The length is just fine... My main problem is finding a comfortable holster. I'll probably have to go custom.
