I think I've mentioned this gun before, but jic, it's a pre WWII model (1939/40). Here's the problem. It shoots about 2" right @ 50yds. The factory sights are dovetailed and the rear sight is adjustable with a ramp for elevation, but no windage adjustment. There are no screws or other fasteners holding the sights in place. I know the drill - front opposite, rear the same. Problem is that neither front or rear wants to move. Tried a few taps with a hammer, but no joy. Would these sights have been soldered in, or otherwise permanently set in place? This gun is 100% original & I don't want to get aggressive with it, so other than Kentucky windage, any suggestions that don't involve new sights/scope or other mods?
