scopes

looks great...except both the scope and the mount are black...i'll have to find some camo tape or something to camo it up...i'm not going to try to paint it either, because it would just look horrible . i'll take a pic later and post it up. this week i'll be getting some butcher paper and sight it in as well. i'll have a full report by the end of this week.

and these two not so much, but it's still a choice...^^^^

Those are pretty cool! How would you do it, cut the tape to form fit the parts?

uh...i'm not sure yet...i'd have to have the stuff in my hands before i can tell you how i'm going to do it.

my credit card had 2 fraudulent charges on it so my bank had to cancel it...( pay-pal is not 100% safe )
so i have to wait on buying it till i get my new card sometime this week.

so me and the wife were out and about today.. so we stopped in at cabelas.
i picked up some cloth tape that sticks to itself...
not gonna work. it won't stick to the scope, and i can't wrap it around it either...nowhere to do that. so...idk.

i was at a local bike shop and they had camo non glare tape for 7.99 so i picked it up. got home, and tried it out.

lame.

 non glare my ass. and..it wouldn't even stick to my scope. whiskey tango foxtrot.

i cant wait to get my new card, then i can order the good stuff.....at least i hope its good stuff.

so i was at cabela's the other day and bought a face camo thingee...
http://www.cabelas.com/product/Cabelas- ... l+Products
and i cut off the leaves on the top row near my eyeballs cuz they were just getting in my eye sight. ( in the link i posted there^^^ you can the leaf thing sticking up, that's what i cut off.)
then i realized i could glue them on my scope instead of buying more tape that wouldn't work anyhow. i used spray 77 and stuck em on it. looks good i think and they don't get in my way of sight. and it breaks up the outline of it with the leaf, and my adjustment knobs are still useable...

how'd i do?

now that i see the picture, it looks a little blurry. i'll get a clearer shot later.

That came out great. I might copy your idea for a scope on mine in the near future.

i got my new card in the mail today, so i'll not be needing to buy that leafy tape anymore. it's also raining cats an dogs over here so i can't go sight it in yet like i wanted to.

OMG!!! that scope is just awesome....but i'm definitely going to need a new stock. the one on it now has not much for comfort. it feels like someone hit me with a baseball bat. over and over.
i fired off about 3 boxes of shells and the only problem i had was when I moved. other than that its great. i didn't even have to adjust it at all. on target right out of the box.
my shoulder is a little sore but a good sore.

cheers.
