Serial Number/Registration

In my 40 plus years of firearm collecting...never once did I send in a product registration card.

Mind you...I still have the original box / gun shop paperwork / registration card / misc papers included / & owners manual for every gun purchased.

Just never saw a good reason...

Just didn't want a problem in case I needed warranty work done. There was no registration card in box. I won't bother registering the shotgun.
 
I'll echo what the others have said.

Mossberg CS is old school in that if the product has their name on it, even if you buy a 30 year old used shotgun with no paperwork, they'll still take care of you...

If you talk to the right person.

Mossbergs customer service is lacking in many ways.

We hear it here all the time, but they will take care of a problem, but forgive the pun, it's like pulling teeth sometimes to get it done.
 
They address all the problems but it takes time as they are busy. The other issue is parts for the SA-20 are not readily available. Imported from Turkey. I do not know why they cannot order larger quantities when they do get some.
I would like to see Mossberg make some parts themselves if they can't import them.

Very funny but I was an Endodontist (root canal specialist) and saved teeth rather then pulling them. <VBG>

I had my grandkids all weekend and couldn't actually look at the gun (got home with it about 20 minutes before they came to Gramma & Grampa's house). Took them home and finally got a good look at it and saw the serial number.
