Solo 300

Other than making a charging handle and milling out a slot for it, it seems pretty straight forward.

I'm already thinking about how I can use a 10.5" barrel and use my 300 blk suppressor over the barrel and do this.

This would allow me to use powders that I have been unable to use because I won't have to worry about whether it'll cycle or not.

I guess that I could just do that now and use the existing charging handle to do that as it sits, but this gives me a new project to think about.

I have a couple of stripped slickside uppers that I could throw a scope on.

Would this work with a commercial side charging upper and BCG?

Depends on how the side charger works. The one above is drilled and tapped into the bolt.

Some commercial side chargers are just an arm that pushes the bolt rearward, while the buffer and spring is what pushes it forward, so it could be made to work either way, you'd really need to affix the bolt handle to the bolt.
