Thinking about a 464 spx any thoughts?

I am looking for a synthetic stock 30-30 lever action and the only one I can find is the 464 spx. I like the idea of the forend but wonder if the but stock is any good it looks a little uncomfortable. This is going to be a hunting and farm gun. With that in mind I would like to have a scope for hunting and a flash light for predators at night.

Okay, I have a suggestion or two but first I would like to know what you mean by the forensic.

Is it just an auto-correct mistaken spelling of "forend" from a smart phone?

I would love an ar15 but can not afford one at this time.
