After the gunsmith tightened the magazine tube up.
    2 3/8" Group on a 5.5" round target
100 yards Bench Rest with 4X scope
    Hornady 160 Grain 30-30 Bullet
Looks like the Gunsmith got it right. No feed problems either.

Very nice. Ive not handled a mossy lever gun. I like lever guns i have an old beat to death western auto revelation 3030 and a marlin 336 in 35rem both can shoot minute of deer but nothing close to what your getting. Very Well done sir.

Yes that's very nice. I certainly couldn't do that with a 4X scope.

I'd have mine on 40 power.

My 30-30 seems to shoot better with 170 grain or heavier, & I have that gun trained at 100 yards. I have not however done the barrel band mods, or anything else to improve the gun, other than mounting a 3-9 power scope. I was kidding about the 40 power scope (it's on my .223 target gun.)

I'm sure I could hit a coyote with the .30-30 at 100 yards but maybe not a squirrel. ;)
