I think a magpul forend and hand stop would look better and be functional

I use the Magpul forend, but attached the Mossberg strap to it. It's the simplest and least expensive solution, but that strap also offers the most protection from letting your hand slip in front of the muzzle at the wrong time. It's not sexy or tacticool, and doesn't cost any extra. But from a functional standpoint, I feel it's the best solution.

Its over all length is greater than 26 inches. It is considered a firearm, so putting a vfg does not change it' classification.
