The worst recoiling round I have shot through it was the PMC Bronze 180 gr. JHP. Those things just hurt. I fired a couple cylinders of them after I bought a box and they were a good step above the American Eagle 240's. The CCI Aluminum I feel are more like a warm .44 Special. Thank God my revolver seems to like those the best too. I carry those during turkey and squirrel season and it would surprise you how much lighter on the hip a cylinder full of these and 2 speed loaders full of them is. I have never weighed them to see the difference, but I can tell by feel they are quite a bit lighter.
