I've been stocking up on these since my local feed store carries them! Theyre identical to the Winchester Ranger low recoil 1 oz rifled slug (law enforcement) only these are commercially available.
I typically pay about 5 to 6 dollars per box of 5 at gun shows for the Ranger ammo, though I have seen 20 rounds for 17 to 18 dollars online from the likes of AmmunitionToGo. I pay $6 retail for the WinLite ammo. The same as gunshow prices for me.
I REALLY like this load! It groups just like Ranger and Federal TruBall for me from my 590A1 with VCS so no other adjustment or learning curve! 5 of 5 rounds on target this morning and Allison can fire them too and put her first shot on target.
Keep them in your HD/SD/property shotgun or in your cylinder bore deer gun. I'm getting more while the feed store still has them!
