I picked this up a couple of weeks ago. It had a 28" ported/ribbed barrel, but I changed it out to an 18.5". This is my "bump in the night" gun.

Thanks. The gun is loaded with "low recoil" Federal Power Shok 00 buck and the sleeve is full power 00 buck.

That's a great lookin boomstick! I really dig the 500's with wood furniture. My 500 looks pretty similar to yours, except I got the stock with changeable cheek pads and no cool gold trigger. I always liked the gold trigger.
