OA, where is your humanity? They can barely afford to live in DC with what they make along with the meager benefits package. I guess they will have to sign up for food stamps, welfare and an Obama phone. Not enough pay...what a joke.

They need more pay. Lobbyists don't pay for all the hookers and free trips after all and the bribes they receive only covers so much. It's not an easy job lining their pockets while running the country into the ground.

Where I come from you have to earn your pay as it is before you can ask for a raise.

To be fair it is really really expensive in DC.

However, what stops them from doing what half a million other people do? Move out of DC and get a home nearby where the economy is easier.

I can live off less than a third of that very comfortably. You won't find any sympathy here sir!
