2018 Assault Weapon Ban Bill Introduced.

If anybody has ever darkened their doorway they`ll know that adding Dick`s to the ignore list is no loss....I`ve seen a better selction of guns and ammo at a pawn shop!

And knowledge as well. Their prices are not in my budget anyway so absolutely no loss.

It is the only way they can accomplish their goal of taking over and subverting the citizens.

True.

I don't think it's going to end like they think it is though.

The whole, foreign and domestic thing.

And the whole duty and obligation to stand against a tyrannical government in self defense thing.

You may enjoy reading this too.

Thanks for the link John. It is enlightening for sure. These days many academics (liberal/socialists) are trying to push their view of the 2nd on the American public to help the leftist/globalists agenda.

unfortunately for them we have a much stronger voice than in years past. It's relatively easy to crush their insane positions with facts with the social media and information superhighway at our fingertips.

Their lies are exposed and their mask is slipping at a much faster rate. people on the fence are swinging pro gun faster than the anti gunners can lie. I've converted a few people in my office. And I battle shit birds online fairly easily.

These are tenuous times my friends. Both south and north of the 49th. We've got "shit birds" galore up here and the Leftie Minister of Public Safety invited anti-gunners to the official Firearms Advisory Committee last year. The committee is stacked with no-nothings and anti-gunners. The few dissenting voices of reason are proverbially drowned out by the emotional lamenting and crying of the left. They invited "stakeholders" to the table supposedly...except some are directly connected to gun control and women's advocacy groups, good luck finding any common ground there.

Like the Monkey...I often slug it out (FWIW :brick:) with the online idiocy but its of little value I think. Most of the time they are trolling to raise hackles and get us to say things we shouldn't say and then use it against us all...'proving how unstable we all are" or some such nonsense. I avoid any talk of violence, hatred or whatever else they might attempt to turn around on me. It's hard to believe that people are truly that clueless and I don't believe they really are...they just stubbornly refuse anything that doesn't match their narrative and world view.

Okay I'm going to go over all Dr Phil on you guys and even worse than usual this time . . . .

It is a much different world now that communication has become almost universal, and universal education will come with that, and by that means I believe the crimes of the public miscreants will continually be exposed.

Kinda like Hillary was exposed by her email server.

But exposure is not enough in a land where everyone in power either conspires or is in denial of the truth, because you can't get a conviction.

IMO the whole power structure is so wound up in their conspiracies that they don't do anything about the obvious crimes in front of their faces.

The Logical extention of a society where the exposure of wealthy criminals does not result in a conviction, is a society where the common citizens indulge in armed revolt against the misuse of power.

This is what you are seeing right now with all of these mass shootings. The only thing people don't realize is the first people to come out of the woodwork will be the crazies and the insane because they are the canaries in the coal mine of Mass public action.

Last night we had dinner with one of my g/f daughters and her family. They are very liberal and towards the end of the evening we had a short conversation about guns. The daughter admits that she does not really know a lot about guns. We were discussing the differences of a so called assault rifle, and what the military actually uses. Her daughter however, my g/f granddaughter, who is a junior in college thinks the answer lies in the method used by Australia, confiscation. She just parrots what she hears from the left. They have no thoughts as to what would happen to the other amendments if the 2nd were to fall. In their minds it has nothing to do with the others. And of course there was the NRA are murderers line thrown in.

One of the things I heard during the conversation was their belief that the AR-15 is some kind of super weapon . I tried to explain the difference between M16 and ARs but it was falling on deaf ears. They have been programmed that AR stands for assault rifle. They admitted that the Florida shooter should not have been able to do what he did had the different "government agencies" done their job, but that was basically of no consequence. In their mind he could not have killed anyone had he not had an AR-15.

Anyways, what I took away from that conversation was basically this. I was not going to change their mind last night, maybe never. We have a fight ahead that I certainly did not think would happen during the trump years. However, with the womens march group, everytown, media matters, and organizers for america (OFA), that is the obama group using the kids to their advantage we have a daunting task to undertake if we want to maintain any sense of liberty in this country. I also figured out I need to work on my presentation as well.

Anyways, that is the end of my rant for now. Stay vigilant my friends.

Possibly one of the best things is to take the liberals to task for not supporting women. An AR-15's adjustablility and low recoil make it just about ideal for small women.

Female Second Amendment Supporter Slaps Down Anti-AR-15 Argument - https://bearingarms.com/tom-k/2018/...mendment-supporter-slaps-anti-ar-15-argument/

Her name is Carrie Lightfoot, and she is a NRA certified pistol instructor.

At one point in the panel, a man named Scott Pappalardo said, “An AR-15 should not be used as a home protection weapon.”

Lightfoot said, “Do you know what a fabulous gun that is for women?”

“It’s a fabulous gun. So is a shotgun,” he said.

She responded by saying that a shotgun is “much harder to handle.”

Lightfood also took up an impassioned defense of the Second Amendment.

“This is a constitutionally protected right–this is not a government legislated privilege, such as driving a car.”

I learned long ago that you can't change stupid.

And while I am not being a male chauvinist pig when I say this, it is even harder to change the mind of a stupid woman.

Women tend to think and react with their emotions, rather than logic.

I couldn't help but notice post 15 of your link. Said it was a good friend of hers which I hadn't seen until today, which further reinforces my opinion about something.

I don't know if you have looked at any of this, but that emma girl is also listed as an actress from NY here: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm6390269/ , and I believe it was one of the reasons she was singled out as a spokesperson, along with hogg, who has aspired to work as a journalist, was somewhat due to her experience in front of a camera, and to further that, her apparent sexual preference to appeal to "minorities" but that may just be a bonus for them.

I'm not one for conspiracy theories and such, but it stops being conspiracy when all the facts after research seem to match up.

This photo was taken directly from the facebook page of his mom. Which also seems to definitely be a leftist activist.

After watching enough episodes of Jerry Springer, I now realize that she who yells the loudest, doesn't make her right.

It just makes her even more stupid for advertising it at the top of her lungs.

Word.

Just another little update, lots of folks are digging around. Seems there is even more going on that the "media' are not wanting to show.

Looks like many of the town hall participants are in the acting club.

I haven't confirmed, but also reading the brother of the bald headed girl is this dude:

I am adding this here even though it is a proposed law in MN. I believe this is where at least half or more of the democrat party wants to go.

For everyone in MN.
Here it comes
HF 3022 is now in the Legislature
– Permit required to own a gun
– Permit required to buy a gun
– Permit required to sell a gun
– Local law enforcement gets to deny all types of gun permits
– Local law enforcement gets to deny permits to carry
– Personal medical information must be shared with law enforcement
– All firearm transfers must be reported
– All guns must be registered (fees set by local law enforcement)
– Registration must be renewed annually
– Local law enforcement may conduct warrantless “safety inspections” of gun owner’s homes
– Local law enforcement sets “safe storage” policies
– Five day waiting period for all transfers
– Transfers must be done through an FFL (even between private parties)
– Fees may be charged for transfers
– Local law enforcement may conduct background investigation on transfers
– Total ban on any gun which meets broad “assault weapon” definition – banned guns must be destroyed or surrendered
– Ban thumbhole stocks
– Ban adjustable stocks
– Ban pistol grip stocks
– Limit fixed magazine capacity to 7 rounds
– Ban any magazine capable of holding more than 7 rounds
– Suspension of gun rights based on complaints from anonymous parties
– Recriminalization of suppressors
– Bump stock ban
– All ammunition sales will be registered
– Permit required to purchase ammunition
Almost forgot an important thing —
HF 3022 would also make gun owner private data public. This would include:
Number and type of guns you own
Your address
Anyone think that’s okay?
If you haven’t joined the Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus, please do.

Holy smokes! That is bloody ridiculous! That has got to be ten times worse than up here.

Aside from the other obvious problems with all of it...that last part would have me worried if I thought that bill had a chance of passing. To publish sensitive, private info like that is unconscionable! They are begging the criminal element to come to your home and rob you. I can’t tell you how much it upsets me to even read that...makes me sick, that they would like to invite trouble and violence to peoples homes...just sickening.

These anti’s know no bounds. I hope the whole Trump is just messin’ With the left is true...because if they start making in-roads with that kind of draconian legislation...it’s gonna get ugly.

It's actually much worse than you are imagining because it's a total Catch-22!

They get to publish your personal gun ownership data.

If someone comes and steals your guns and uses them in a crime you are made responsible.

Here in California, if any child gets ahold of your gun and hurts somebody, or shoots up someone's property or some public property, you are immediately a felon, and you become responsible for all the associated costs of this debacle.

BTW, This could be the child of the guy who stole your gun and then left it on the kitchen table.

How crazy is this stuff?

Say, The state publishes your your data, some crook uses that data to rob you, their kid gets ahold of the gun they stole from you and shoots the crook.

Under California law the registered gun owner is 100% liable, unless they can prove that the gun was stolen from a locked gun safe. Or maybe a locked car, depending on how the gun was locked up inside the car.

Unfortunately many guns are stolen from people's cars, and are inside of stolen cars. There's been a couple of recent high profile cases where duty-guns were stolen from the homes and cars of off-duty police officers.

Our politicians were up in arms because someone had the temerity to start publishing their names and home addresses and phone numbers on the web.

But some a-hole thinks he has the right to publish the contents of my gun safe? Or even the fact that I own guns?

I want to see them publish their address and the fact that they don't have any guns at home to protect their kids and family.

If they have private bodyguards, I want to see their names and faces and what guns they're using.
