California Travel Ban

Yeah, my state is on that list too. I wear that like a badge of honor.

Apparently, kali is pissed off that we don't want pedophiles using the same bathroom as our daughters and granddaughters or something along those lines. Their whole state is seriously &#^%(&.

In all fairness, kalifornia has been on the same list of places for me not to visit as nicarauga and iran and hell for years.

I am hoping that our governor bans the import of any item produced/shipped from kalifornia in retaliation. It may not mean much, but hit them in the pocket book where it hurts. I'd be OK with that.

And a little message to Xavier Becerra:

It may be hard for you to understand, but we don't care what you think.

And we don't want you here anyway.

Our Governor was on the news last night giving a statement.

In part, bashing the KY Attorney General (who is the ex-governors son and fellow Democrat) for not doing his job in relation to the Kali gun ban;

Lexington mayor, Jim Gray, another fellow democrat; who coincidentally lost the last election for state senate against Rand Paul, begged kalifornia attorney general not enforce a travel ban to "his city" because they are tolerant of gays. Though a few decades ago, the citizens of KY overwhelmingly voted to amend the state constitution to include that marriage be only with a man and a woman.

Ky Governor said in his statement that kali is welcome to enforce a travel ban all they want against KY, but he would be traveling there next week to suck as many businesses away from there as he can.

I think he used the word "sucking" on purpose in this instance and perhaps tongue in cheek. Still, I laughed out loud when I was listening to him.

“They're going to walk that thing back. It was a silly idea,” said Governor Bevin. “It was meant to make headlines and he was successful.”

Bevin said, “They may not want people to travel on business to Kentucky. I'm going to be traveling on business to California and sucking companies out of there to Kentucky. You can bet on that.”

. . . Their whole state is seriously &#^%(&

Well not quite the whole state. Clovis is standing true to their roots and there are no transgender bathrooms here. You can still get a CCW here in this County and if you got to wear a gun in the backcountry it's no problem.

I like you caddmann. And the other people who are hanging on standing up for your rights, I totally respect you for it.

But as bad as I hate to say it, you're on the losing end of that one my friend. The politicians and stupid people, and illegals vastly outnumber you. Otherwise, it would have been stopped or turned around back in the 1990's and would have never been allowed to grow and fester to the point it is now.

Now, they (the politicians) don't even bother to hide their agenda. It's outright, open, and blatent.

I stand by my earlier observation. The state of kalifornia is lost.

I mean no disrespect to you or any of the good guys still there. But the state is &#^%(&.

Well there's no doubt we've got a huge population of idiots but when things come to a certain point I think they're going to start wising up.

Where Illinois is now California is sure to follow.

I like your optimism.

But looking at how things are now and the steady decline, history shows the majority of them are never going to wise up. Matter of fact, they seem to be gaining momentum rather than losing it.

". . . you can't fool all the people all the time."

The change when it comes will come as a big wave. That's how all human business seems to operate: on a boom-and-bust cycle.

Remember when it seemed like Hillary was a shoe-in?

Not where I'm from. Even life long democrats were holding their nose because of her nomination, and I'm not certain that would have been any different had the socialist been nominated.

But I hope you're right. You're in a far better place to judge what's going on around you locally than I am.

I can just be honest and tell you what I see on the outside looking in.
