Well we had unexpected rain today… I didn’t get my tank welded. Nothing got painted.
Tomorrow should be dry and warm. Warmer all week, then rain again on Wednesday.
Now that I have the tank mounting ready, I can shoot the last bit of paint on the frame and shove my chassis into the garage.
I’d like to piss and moan about socialism taking over New York City but I realize that they have really been in charge there all along. NYC can get what they deserve.
I haven’t been there since 1966 (!) And there’s no chance I’ll ever go back now.
Meanwhile, crime has completely taken over in California. We are soon to be a one party state where anybody who runs as a Republican is really just another Democrat. It’s almost that bad now.
Criminals and perverts have ruined America, and now it seems the communists are just gonna creep in and sweep up the bits.

Just like they said they would back in the early 60's. Their patience has been rewarded. Makes me grateful to live in Kansas, even with the crap climate. Hopefully we can rid ourselves of the Bloomberg-bought governor and 3td district congress-person. Unfortunately the county I live in has been taken over - the entire county commission is democrat-socialists and they are spending money like crazy: projects that make them feel good while they raise property taxes a minimum of 8% per year. We are planning to move to another county within the next 2-3 years.

A 100-year-old British World War II veteran lamented that the current state of the United Kingdom was not the one he and his comrades fought for in World War II in an interview on Friday.
Alec Penstone served an extensive career in the Royal Navy, having been aboard the HMS Campania during the D‑Day invasion. As people across the British Commonwealth don the poppy to commemorate soldiers who died since World War I this Remembrance Sunday, Penstone was asked on "Good Morning Britain" what the day means to him.
"My message is, I can see in my mind’s eye, rows and rows of white stones, of all the hundreds of my friends and everybody else, that gave their lives – for what?" he replied to the show’s hosts. "The country of today… No, I'm sorry, the sacrifice wasn’t worth the result that it is now."
"What we fought for was our freedom – we fought for it. Even now, it's a darn sight worse than when I fought for it," Penstone said.
