Good morning

I was planning to remove these aquariums, and I have already moved the fish into other aquariums so these are gonna go up on craigslist.

The bottom tank was a breeder with 40 gallons of guppies and mollies in it and they were very hard to catch.

The 55 gallon tank above had five African Mooneyfish and I literally picked them up with my bare hands and put them in a bucket, and they didn’t fight me because they are so tame from being hand fed for seven years.

I disassembled my computer desk, and reassembled it in the music room for now.

So that corner is bare! I ran fans above and below until things had dried out, and covered the hole up with cardboard for tonight.

Hey guys. Still moving and cleaning.

The weather is dry and nearly 70F today. Unless it rains again, everything in the attic will get a dose of Lysol tomorrow and I will close it all up.

It was all surface-dry by 10pm last night before I put up cardboard, but the top plates and truss heels there took a soaking. This wants to air out more before I put up drywall.

This job has $200 in material max and will take me a day if I loaf. The toughest thing for me will be to do a matching knockdown texture, but I have seen it done & I know what it takes.

My insurance has a $500 deductible for storm/water damage.

I’m on the fence…
 
Cadd, they have cans of the spray on texture in different grades so you can match the old texture. I've used these several times and you spray it on to the level you want and let it dry then come back a do a final coat of paint.

If the finish is like sandpaper then you can add dry playground sand to both the base coat and the final coat as needed

Good morning. Cloudy and 74 at 8 am it was. Headed for 85 with possible thunderstorms this afternoon. Some might turn severe. Now things are feeling like spring, lol.

Cadd, sorry about the leaky roof. Big pita. Also, my oldest son is one of those disbelievers about the moon. He thinks it’s all photoshopped. He’s 51, I quit trying to convince him a while back. A long while actually.

I do however have a cousin married to a rocket scientist. He was the chief engineer on a component on the Artemis launch vehicle. Mind you there are a lot of components. He is almost 70 and says this was probably his last project.

Here’s the thing about faking videos. Human beings really suck at keeping secrets.

It takes a lot of people to create a movie company to do something this complicated, and in the end you have to keep them all quiet.

A whole lot of people would have to be kept quiet and there would be whistle blowers.

I know people with the same opinion and there was one thing that runs consistently through their character. They were all educated in public schools after they quit requiring physics and geometry.

Or they claim to have taken it but cannot answer the simplest questions about either business. This lack of education (or this Miss-education) makes them gullible to nonsense.

Firstly, I DO believe in the moon landing. ;)

Secondly, I do NOT believe Bidet was legitimately elected. Either by Illegal Invaders voting, people voting fraudulently, rigged counting machines, ballot dumps, a network of villains, etc. Bidet got in. :(

But to your point: Wouldn't there be whistle blowers? And to this I would venture a guess that the TDS in these people was so bad they were able to let their hatred seeth above the truth. And hardly anyone questioned the responsible parties--the powers that be quickly implied anyone questioning the results was an "election denier". :rolleyes: Slimedia did EVERYTHING in their power to make Trumpy and his team look like a bunch of complaining bitches. Jan. 6 was rolled on its head and blown WAY out of proportion to what it was. There was far too much stink for reasonable people not to question it. I'm sure tens of thousands of ballots were destroyed by a cadre of bad hombres and hombrettes.

It couldn’t possibly be that the climate models are all a bunch of uncertain junk, created by people that got govt grants to do “work” that they could convince people would amount something, without actually producing anything that you could use or measure.

These predictions are coming from a government who has failed wholesale to predict anything correctly in a long long time, except that members of the other party would be crooks, in which they are all correct.
