Good morning to all of yous. Clouds and 58 this morning, the wind is 13 mph from the northeast. Yesterday this time we had sunshine and 77 with a south wind of 25 mph. Ah, springtime.
not much going on today. We have rain showers and thunderstorms in the area. Perhaps I’ll putter in the garage a bit.

Hey guys. We had more rain, that delayed the plastering a bit. I just got the last skim coats on the ceiling and tomorrow I will do the knockdown texture.
Also I found a lump that became this blister in the old work.
This got sealed with shellac and skimmed.

That’s far from the first post, but it is as far back as I can see.
This whole site, before that date, has disappeared.
A LOT of stuff was lost. So much it overshadows what has happened since.

Apparently, I joined June 29, 2011. I know I've done a lot of "good" posts since then.
A year or two ago, I backed up any posts and pics I wanted to save. Mainly copy/paste.
A quick search for "sa-20" and my handle shows two newer posts. Looking at one of my backed up posts on my computer, I did a lengthy thread on mag tube extension back in 2014. That appears to be gone.
Maybe a culling of posts to increase server capacity? How long is the URL (handle) domain good for? I might be able to host it but I certainly couldn't manage or moderate it and I thank you guys that do. Then again, the forum format has been waning in popularity with everyone wanting instant gratification...
Gentlemen (and Ladies), although I will check in once/twice a day, if this site goes away you can find me at shopfloortalk.com (different handle) or patriotgunbuilders.com (same handle). Both forums are owned by active participants and are 1A and 2A friendly.

I recorded a lot of gun repairs, car repairs, motorcycle repairs, and such things in past posts and say are half gone.

Well, good evening . May 1st and more protests. I am getting very annoyed with people carrying communist flags in the USA. Teachers encouraging students to skip classes. The teachers unions should absolutely be disbanded, bu force if necessary. They are not concerned about educating children. Their concern is supporting democratic policies.
We had a nice day here. A high of 67 and mostly clear skies with virtually no wind.
