JM PRO 930 lifter jam

Hey guys, It's been a while since I've stopped by or posted and I hope all is well. My JM PRO 930 has been having this strange shell jam between the elevator and I have to stick my finger or something in to lock the shell back in the magazine tube. This does not happen every single round but does regularly. It even happens when I cycle dummy rounds not just live ammo. I read about knocking off the edge of the shell catch carrier and replacing the recoil spring plunger but I am wondering if it could be something as simple as a too long or too short spring or my welded lifter. Anyone have any ideas ?

Maybe a too long magazine spring!?
I've cut down my first spring and use now a Wolf spring.
