Limiting plug in magazine tube?

I see that the most common 510 model is listed as 2 +1, is there a limiting dowel in the magazine tube or is the mag tube shorter than a 3+1 model?

Update: I called Mossberg and they said there is a easily removed dowel in the mag tube. Once removed capacity is 3+1.

I have one. Mine came with a dowel. Just unscrewed the cap and shook it out. I saved it though. Never know if you need for some dumb reason later on.
