Anyone who approached a "dead" bear knows it can be tense.
This is why I carry a side arm hunting and in the woods in general.
This happened about 15 miles from my house, during the video there is a shot of the medical helo and in the background you can see a tall rock outcropping, that’s Barry Rock, we put a fire out on the hill every other year or so from lightning, that’s where they shot the bear….I would have had a pistol out instead of skinning knifes lol....

Oh man..that's crazy. I would have givin it another shot to the head before I got too close. It's not like I'll be keeping the it for a mount...

Where I live, they would've took the bear to the hospital and the person would've been left for dead.

KY really sucks that way.

The hunter would've been in trouble for shooting it to begin with.
