The last line in the article was my favorite:

"We have adjusted our policies to ensure that no one can exploit this program again for personal gain."

So, I guess that means the NY AG office is not going to do that anymore since it's for THEIR personal gain.

Gotcha.

Yeah, I know, that's not what they meant. But, that's why they do it. They get a bunch of kickbacks from antigun orgs and entities. What they should've stated is "we're going to change the rules to put a cap on how much we're going to give out". While they still get their under the table kickbacks. They're only upset because this cut into their profit margin.

Most of the guns they get are broken or unrepairable old guns.

They may get some hunting guns from widows/widowers or people really hard up for cash but from what I hear they srent taking in a lot of guns that would be used on the street.
