Message for All Mossberg Members

I would post more but I don't usually have much Mossberg related material to talk about.

Post whatever you want--we like ALL guns!

I think one "problem" with the forum format is that it isn't "instant" gratification. You pose a question, it might be a day or two before someone replies. Especially if the forum is new or less active. Some forums are busier than others but that requires an active owner who participates regularly.

The other two forums I frequent are the aforementioned welding/machining forum and a "personally made firearm" forum. Both are very 2A and "normal" (ie: cussing ) language-friendly and the owners are fairly active and post regularly. And both would be happy if you joined. It is OK to lurk and I suspect many do and aren't as prolific at posting as some.

Just like to remind everyone that we have many, many "non" guns topics on the forum from accessories, to reloading, to optics, etc.

And we've occasionally had totally non gun related threads about the weather, people's other hobbies, military service, fishing, etc. All great!

So please post about anything you wish.

And let me echo Bobster's comment on instant gratification. With the limited number of "regular's" still around none of us are logged on all the time or sometimes, not even daily. So if you don't get a rapid response to your question please don't worry. Us old guys do read all the new threads and eventually respond as necessary.

My gosh. This thread has garnered a lot of attention, as much or more than I can remember for quite some time. It’s uplifting.

I am guilty of not being here as much as I used to. It seems the older I get the less time I have to do everything I want to do. I do belong to a couple of other forums. Marlin owners and Ruger forum. I visit those two perhaps once a month. I also visit the Hooligans Cadd mentioned about once a month.

I don’t really have answers and would not consider myself knowledgeable about the workings of computers, the language, or the workings of websites.

Dbray and Joker, thanks for joining in. Your input is appreciated.

I hope we can find a solution.
