Mini-slugs / Mini-shells in 835 pump

Has anyone actually tried using the Aquilla Mini-shells?
If so, how well did they cycle in the 835 pump?

I would assume they would cycle as well as through any other gun. I've never used them personally.


Note: it is not recommended by OFM to shoot slugs from an 835 unless you have the dedicated slug barrel.

The barrels are overbored to 10gauge dimensions and the slugs could get lodged in the barrel.

I have tried Aguilla mini slugs in my KSG and my 835.
They work fine in the KSG but will not function in the 835, except if I manually load each one.
The shell elevator seems to be to short and they always flip and jam in the receiver.
BTW, I am using an 18.5" 590 barrel on my 835.

I tried a box of the buckshot.... You need to cycle them quickly though, or they wound up getting all discombobulated in there...
