Mine must be a Remington then. So far I have nothing bad to say about it except this:
They put the front sights on before indexing the barrels, and then bend the front sight sideways to sight the gun in. It works! the gun shoots pretty straight for a big-bore carbine bear stopper. But it looks funny when you first shoot the gun.
When it arrived, I looked at that sight and exclaimed, "It's been dropped!"
Not so. No marks on the gun at all. (My kid fixed that...)
Yup. No more 464.Looking on the Mossberg website and there are no "Lever action" rifles posted. Has the the 464 been discontinued?
Take a 12 gauge 4 shot shell card, get a couple of dummy rounds put them both in 1 shell tube press a credit card between the 2, mark tube ends/card and have a seamstress sew the line for you. I used the 4 shell card because it fits perfectly on the fore end without over lap.I like the shell holder.
Never mind the mag dump, that cold stone stare is enough to make you want hard labor. The Rifleman comes on every day at 3pm on MeTV which is OTA here. You gotta love a show that begins with a mag dump. (not shown in the gif)
