muzzle break ?

No. I don't know that any of them do anymore. I got my 338 right after Mossberg apparently switched to no muzzle brake. That was February of 2013 (just over a year ago). Mine was supposed to be with a brake, but it was sold out from where I bought it (online) so they had one sent directly from Mossberg to my FFL. Came with no brake. I called around and was told it was a "running change" to no brake. So at least at that time, Mossberg had chosen to switch from the 4x4 having a brake to not.
 
got a 308 in a couple weeks ago and it did not have one neither but is fine still like it haven't got to shoot it yet
