I had the bolt separated from the bolt body the other day. From what i understand the bolt is pressed on the splined body, maybe used locktight? From my inquiries , the rifle I have is off warranty (2014) and fixing is on me. I'm thinking its straight forward to press it back on. Has any one done this? thanks

I would call or send an email to Mossberg, or call a local gunsmith and ask.

I certainly would not want it to separate when fired.

Yes that's what i did. Local gunsmith can repair but their labour rate isn't cheap . Its off warranty, Mossberg says. I since found out that others have had this problem too. I plan to get another body from Numrich if they get more in stock.

I would contact Mossberg and let them know your issue. I think they would probably send you a new bolt, gratis. If not buy directly from them if the price is reasonable.

BTW: Welcome Aboard! :)
