About the club:

With the introduction of the Brownie pistol in 1919, O.F. Mossberg began producing high quality firearms, accessories and scopes. Many of these fine specimens can still be found today, outperforming their expensive competitors.

Throughout the past eight decades, Mossberg produced a series of over 50 bolt-action rifles, numerous scopes, sights and shotguns, each designed with the working man in mind and dedicated to the motto of "More Gun for the Money."

The National Mossberg Collectors Association was formed in November of 1988 with just a handful of folks interested in the collecting aspect of Mossberg arms and accessories. Today, we have over 1000 members in 46 states, including international members from Great Britain, Ireland, Belgium, France and Canada.

The only requirement for membership is an enthusiasm for Mossberg firearms and history. It is our mission to preserve both the arms and the history, as well as assist each other in locating parts to restore the old models.

Annual membership dues are $12 US/Canada and $25 international, which includes four quarterly issues of NMCA News, souvenir membership kit with free logo decals, chronology of firearms and an opportunity to place free advertisements in the "Swap and Sell" portion of the newsletter. Back issues of NMCA News are $3.75 each ($5 for international members). You may also want to purchase a copy of "More Gun for the Money," a 304 page history of Mossberg firearms with over 500 illustrations and photographs, publsihed in 1995 in conjunction with OFM’s 75th anniversary. This is currently the only book in print that deals exclusively with Mossberg.

The NMCA offers you "more club for the money," and I look forward to welcoming you as a member. Please feel free to call 636-937-6401 or write to us at Post Office Box 487, Festus, MO 63028 if we can be of further assistance. You can order our book and join the club online here.
