I'm wanting to try reloading for one of my two Mosin Nagants. I would like to slug the barrels of both. If anyone would be willing to mail me a couple .32 cal (.315) diameter lead balls, for the price of a stamp would be appreciated.

Wanted to ask here before I bought 100 or so elsewhere.

That's what I was gonna stick in some of those 16 ga birdshot shells to give 'em some wallop.

:D

Dump out the shot. Drop in 1/2 oz sinker and put back half the shot.

The thing is, if I shoot an intruder in my home with that round, what would the law say?

Are you slugging the barrel to find the exact bore/chamber dimension?

If so, I recommend using Cerrosafe for that. It has a low melting point (a little under 200 degrees).

Yes, I've read that some of these old military rifles have varying diameter tolerance. Tight ones can run .308 projectiles, more than likely they will need something in the .311-.312 range.

Thank you Nitesite, I'll look into those as well.

You, Sir, are most welcome.

They work. I promise. Just get them a tiny bit large, lube them, and go.
