NEW Mossberg 715P Pistol - Duck Commander

I'm glad I found this thread! I adore the Duck Commander's appearance and camouflage finish, but I've found that cleaning this pistol is a little bit of a chore; Mossberg's design necessitates complete disassembly using numerous screws and tools, which is not something you'd do on every range session.
Has anyone discovered faster ways to disassemble it or other ways to maintain functionality without completely disassembling it? Though some reviews claim that the CCI Mini-Mag groups best at 1.8′′ @ 25 yards, it's still more of a fun plinker than a precision tool, so I'm also curious about what ammunition other people have enjoyed.
I'm curious to know your installation and cleaning tips!

I had a couple of the TAC rifles, long since gone. My suggestion would be to clean less frequently. ;) Be careful of solvents used on plastics.
You have found that to service the rifle, you have to split the clam and there is really no other way that I know of. I would caution you not to strip the many screws nor to overtighten them. Bring a screwdriver to the range to check tight before you shoot. Loctite should not be used on plastic.
I don't remember what ammo I used with them. Carefully loading the mags and "tapping" them on the back once loaded helps with feeding.
That's all I got--enjoy!

The Mossberg 715P is a fun little .22 Long Rifle pistol for plinking and range time. It’s lightweight, easy to control, and the large magazine capacity makes it great for casual shooting. The Duck Commander edition also adds some cool styling for fans of the brand. It’s not meant to be a precision firearm, but for recreational shooting it definitely looks like a good time at the range.
