Occupy Wall Street (Potential Political Debate!)

What I want to know is where you're getting your supplies.

!!!

I know a guy in the mnt's in TN, an old ridge runner from way back. A place where cars dont have license plates on them and if youre careful and dont ask too many questions, youre in there. Their main export is white lightnin and home grown. Many have never been outside the county and think of doin so as steppin out of the United States. Outsiders are Auslanders, foreigners.

Ok, I just totally made that up, but its based entirely on actual events, people and places. I have a friend, about 70 or so years old from a place in TN just like i described. I dont however, purchase hand fired or remote explosives. That would be illegal.

 "Tea Bagger" hat!

Still lookin for stuff on all this, and one thing I had wondered is where the OWS movement began, how did it start and who is/was responsible. It seems Soros has financial ties to backers of the protests, but as is often the case nothing rock solid.

The best way to describe it is that he is financially "linked" to the protests. The Tides Center has recieved massive donations from Soros and is a finacial backer of the Occupy Wall Street Movement. Soros has over some time given as much as $3.5 million to the Tides Center. The Tides Center is directly, and financially linked to the protests. Reuters reported a story on the George Soros connections, and later retracted the story after pressure from Soros aids. The article reads differently now, saying there is no connection. Reuters is now calling the speculation and attempts to link Soros to OWS protests, "Rabble-Rousing". Whatever... Reporting is dead.

There are other "supporters" from the Holywood left to liberal left politicians like Bill Clinton and Al Gore.

Another note identifying the direction leftists want to take the country.

Michelle Obama;
"Barack knows that we are going to have to make sacrifices; we are going to have to change our conversation; we're going to have to change our traditions, our history; we're going to have to move into a different place as a nation."

Youre watching for 1:10 in the video, but its also highlighted.

Our history? Really? Orwellian anyone? Check out "The Ministry of Truth" from 1984. The duties of the main character, his job with The Ministry of Truth, is altering records, new developements, and orders among other things so it appears as if Big Brother is never wrong. Documents from days weeks and years before are altered as a matter practice Big Brother is always on the right side of history. If Big Brother says something wrong, newspapers and everything of the past is gone over thoroughly and changed. Books are rewritten, news paper articles, everything. Even as the war changes, records and papers are rewritten, the enemy is even changed. So while Eurasia was the lifelong enemy one day, if a banner has the wrong name on it, everything historically is changed so it seems as if Eastasia has always been the enemy. I think I got the names right! :D

Oh, there are still seats available on that handbasket! Dont wait till its too late to reserve yours! Call now and for the low low price of 85 installments of $19.95, your seat will be reserved for the impending apocalypse!

See, thats entrepreneurship! If you send me the money, thats your fault, not mine! ;)

Ah, yes, the Ministry of Truth. Personally, I take anything said by a First Lady who doesn't know enough to keep her mouth shut during a flag-folding ceremony with a HUGE grain of salt.

You can keep your handbasket. I have an alternate plan.

Ugh... I have so many more examples!

Martin Luther King is now said to have been representing socialism, that his marches were for collective bargaining! Again I say Whiskey Tango Foxtrot! What planet are these people on?

I dont know how long the protesters can keep this up without support and backing. Winter is coming soon. I dont see an acceptable outcome being they get bored and walk away. The leftists that are disappointed with obama for not going far enough with his policies are lovin this stuff.

How about some uplifting patriotic stuff for a few moments so we can take the duct tape off our heads without exploding or bleeding out from our eyes.

And I'll end for now with this tribute, cuz some have given all and will never return. These are my heroes. These guys, men and women who voluntarily joined the US Armed Forces!

I have some updating to do as things unfold.

There are more and more supporters of the OWS movement. Now remember what I said in my earlier posts. If the OWS crowd isnt well organized with a well defined agenda and voice, stronger presences will move in and speak for them.

For example, The American nazi party and American communist party. Remember the part about needing an enemy? The nazis say the enemy (and if I recall correctly, I belive they actually said "enemy") are the Judeo capitalists, the communist say the capitalists too, but dont make the Judeo Christian distinction. Oh! I remember!!! The nazis said the enemy of the "WM" (meaning "white male") are the Judeo capitalist.

So the enemy is defined, and in recent polls, 1/3 of the protesters say they consider violence and civil disobedience an option. Nearly 100% say they would support civil disobedience. 51% disapprove of obama. They say he hasnt gone far enough to the left and they want govt gauranteed health insurance, education, and redistribution.

This is class warfare. They say they are the 99%. 99% of what? They dont represent me!

According to the New York Post, today, one of the biggest problems the OWS-ers are having right now is theft. One girl had her $5500 laptop stolen. First, how do you not have a job but own a $5500 laptop? Second, why is she mad ad the thieves? They're just redistributing the wealth.

 I find that rather entertaining! Right on, what has she to be mad about? Apparently someone with less than her wanted more and wanted what she had! Again I say Hahahahahahaha!!!

That is some funny stuff. Someone with a $5500 lap top probably never needed anything in their life….or they are so in debt that they are part of the problem

I quoted incorredctly the nazi's in my earlier post. Its not "WM" for white male, its "WN" for white nationalist. I'm sorry bout that. I'm still diggin through stuff.

They did however say, its time for them to "join in the attack on Judeo-capitalism".

And this quote;
Who holds the Wealth and Power in this country – the Judeo-Capitalists. Who is therefore the #1 enemy who makes all this filth happen – the Judeo-Capitalists. WHO therefore do WN (White Nationalists) need to FIGHT?

Their enemy is God and capitalism.

The Communist Party of the USA (CPUSA) says the all peoples upsurge against the banks and corporations reflects a new level of class conciousness. They support the "Obama Endorsed" Occupy Wall Street protests.

They also call it an exciting time that;
thousands of mainly young people have been occupying Wall Street for three weeks already... ...the “Occupy Movement” has spread to more than 200 other cities.

There is some sort of teleconference coming up with Arturo Cambron, the Southern California party leader, to discuss how the CPUSA and Young Communist League are working together in the Occupy Los Angeles protests.

More later, I'm goin to bed.

The once lovely Daryl Hannah has cast her lot with the OWS crowd.

She is protesting the "Tyranny of Oil"... Go figure, at least she lives the life she preaches about. As for being among the "1%", she says "that was 20 years ago" and now she "lives comfortably".

Well, Mayor Bloomberg of NYC says its difficult to negotiate with the occupiers due to lack of leadership.

Though, I'm thinkin its not like they want 100 million in unmarked bills and a helicopter ride to Mexico. They want to bring down government as we know it. How do you negotiate with that?

Re: Re: Occupy Wall Street (Potential Political Debate!)

Rossingnol, after reading this thread, I applaud your passion and patriotism! I am a constitutional conservative and I wish there more people out there with a voice like yours. A+ my friend, Well done.

Yes, I too believe in limited govy as prescribed by the constitution! Thank you!

I feel there are others out there like us I'm certain, but complacency is allowing the liberal left to use this creeping socialism and redistribution to fundementally change our govt as we know it. They are creating a class of population completely dependent on govt.

The government is the largest bank and corporation in the US. Theyre willing to cut defense to maintain welfare and social programs.

It blows my mind, makes my brain feel like its boiling.

The thing most concerning to me, what is the outcome? When does it end and at what cost? Will they all get bored and go away? Many groups are trying to take advantage of the protests around the country, but if the protesters get bored and realize Woodstock is over and get tired of the filth sex and drugs and organic tree bark theyre being served, then whats the next step?

With the focus and attention, how do they cool it down, has the movement taken root? They are non violent, but many have said they would or will support civil disobedience. Its entirely possible its being romanticized, that while many dream of a Che Guevara-esque revolution, would they follow through? I like think they would not. But they talk about it.

Who knows.

Before I get to my update, watch this, it will make sense in short order.

Time for another installment, more editorial commentary from a right wing extremist whack job.

Civil disobedience, squatting, and chanting,
The night isnt over till we take back the park!

The Occupy Oakland protesters were met by police in riot gear discharging tear gas. They want to "retake" the park. The Atlanta protesters were banned from their site in the middle of the night, well after the hour the park had closed. The impending colder weather, and protesters being barricaded from their sites of "occupation" may test the resolve of the groups. The same thing is happening here in Cincinnati too. The protesters are squating on privately owned property and have been warned they cant stay after hours. Atlanta's mayor says where it goes from here will depend on the groups leadership.

Will they keep getting rowdy despite arrests and misdemeanor charges, or are the riot gear clad police enough of a deterent? Will they feel vindicated in their beliefs and somehow more justified because of the arrests? Will the arrival of the police somehow validate the cause? Do they feel proud for being arrested, like martyrs going to meet their virgins? It wont be the kind they want while in jail.

I still dont know who is intitially behind the "Occupy" protests, though it is supported by the likes of The Tides Foundation and Adbusters, both of which Soros has contributed to. I'm looking at allegations of ACORN leading the initiative to "occupy" locations across the country.

More later.

Many of you have likely heard the news on the "Occupy" stuff out of Oakland. Protesters are becoming increasingly unruly. Bonfires in the streets, vandalism, busting windows out of stores, firebombs, wearing scarves over their faces...

Just prior to this, (I'm still looking for the exact quote and source) someone is quoted as saying violence is the next logical step in the movement.

On the WallStreet front, rapes are being reported from the camp. As many as 10 including one male victim, in the past several weeks. A spokesperson called "Grim Womyn" seemed to shrug it off as the WallStreet "occupation" is a microcosm of society and rapes occur in society and its largely the fault of law enforcement as they are the propagators of most violence...

The WallStreet occupiers dont want LE involved and say they can handle it on their own. In one case by running the rapist off shouting "Pervert! Get out pervert!" Yes... thats justice. So they set up a section of the camp for women that is watched over 24 hours a day. Even so, the camp is said to be "unsafe for women".

Stupid. I can see the point of the movement. But If you dont have law and order then it will get out of hand quickly. If not people will start killing each other over petty crap and getting away with rape and murder. It was a nice try but they are being stupid about it. Government is crapping their pants though and that’s a good thing.....everyone needs to crap their pants now and again.
