Ok,here goes..

Are you in for a rude awakening about how government has been working for the better part of your adult life.

Also, I understand if you're new to this, but when you say the DOJ, that is the department of justice.

The Judicial branch is the other of the 3 branches.

In no particular order:

Legislative
Judicial
Executive

As for defending my decision to vote for someone, I offer no apologies for such regardless of the outcome.

I think that Biden is compromised and makes him an easy target for extortion and blackmail. Which I think is going to further weaken our country. And that has not even taken into consideration of many of his past acts to use the office of the VP of the US to pressure a foreign country to fire the people investigating his family and their interest and that's not even taking into consideration and completely ignoring the fact that his family has made a lot of money from his sons' death by creating a tax free fund for cancer research that never goes any further than paying for its' "operating costs" and doesn't actually pay anything but their 6 and 7 digit salaries. That is just disgusting to me.

Their open discontent for our God given rights has not gone unnoticed either. That is a direct violation of the oath to protect and uphold the constitution. If they are willing to violate that, they are unfit and perjure themselves and as I have said, made a difficult decision to make rather simple and straighforward for me.
Yes this is all new to me,and thank you for your patience. I had never watched a debate before, never paid much attention to any of it before. I must not be hooked up right when it comes to most things, it seems. I pay all my taxes, federal and property, at the start of each year, then forget about them. I never changed withholdings on my W2 to get a few more bucks monthly or at the end of the year. I don’t shop and compare car insurance, having had the same company for decades. I didn’t look for Medicare supplement plans, just keep paying the fixed rate for the silver plus plan that I get through the union for as long as I want to keep it. I’ve lived in oblivia most of my life. That’s not to say I’m now totally unaware, as my wife loves to research stuff like that and has never presented me with cheaper or better options.. so...lol

Good Lord! This is no time for me to wallow thru all that.

I can only say @Rodburner , that if the USA voting system was all OK, then Bernie would have been the DNC choice.
But they screwed him in 2016 and 2020.
Because democracy is not their thing.

Authoritarian rule is. They like to be judges.

As for lawyers and judges, all judges start out as lawyers.

The fox is not only in the henhouse, he owns it, built it, and runs it.

Ooooh, ooh, I found another horse.. it was mentioned earlier that the person voted for Trump, because he was the nominee. I will guess that is how lots of voters vote. I did vote for several republicans because I think they are doing a good job or brought something to the table. If they were Trump supports was not crucial. But now the airwaves are filled with treason, turncoat, satanist, baby raper etc being shouted by republicans at republicans. Are these “traitor” labels given to the people who have been close to the man, talked with, golfed with, eaten with, campaigned with and stood beside for all these years, now really somehow changed? Are there 2 republican parties? Does one believe Trump and only Trump, while the rest are career RINOs that have been serving our country, sometimes, for decades? How is anything accomplished if this group is elected but that they are a lie? That would sound like the old turd in the bowl of cornflakes conundrum..

Sound like a bunch of ungrateful kooks. If it weren’t for capitalism their moms and dads wouldn’t have been able to buy the those neat Birkenstock’s to wear to college that the folks got that second mortgage for, so you could go to learn this blather while they can’t retire for even longer.

I was the one who voted for the nominee against Hillary.
I also voted a straight Republican ticket because of the obvious party line separations.

The party separations can easily be seen by how every democrat votes against anything Trump put forth en masse. There was no bipartisanism going on and a vote for any democrat was a vote against anything the POTUS wanted to accomplish.
The Obama/Biden administration set the class/racial separation rolling. Biden/Harris wish to further this even more so and encourage redistribution of wealth.

Yes. A lot of the people turning away from Trump now are doing so to remain in their positions of power. Many have been RINO's for years/decades. Romney is a big one.
IMO, they are doing it to appease the incoming power base of the liberal leftist.
The left doesn't even try to hide their socialist agenda anymore.

You seem to be influenced by what you hear and read from the media which is heavily biased against Trump. I can see how your views would be clouded.

What the politicians in DC fail to see is that THEY have created what happened at the Capitol. The political machine does not want any outside people disturbing the status quo.
They are of the mind that the People need to be told what they need and the government is the answer.
Gone are the days when your senator and house representative worked for the people.

This is a large thorn that they hate about Trump.
He really does want America to be Great Again. He was working for the people of America, wants law and order, and Americans to prosper.

Of course they must virtually crucify Trump now.
And his friends, and family, and thus the hate will spread.

What horrors will that hatred engender?
There are 10 more days of work ahead of America, before Jan 20.
So, anything could still happen.

Chaos theory was never more applicable to a situation.

I think Trump underestimated the amount if hate towards him. The left hates Trump more than they like Biden or Harris.

I think Trump did not focus enough on this election. He spent to much time in pointless twitter battles rather than keeping focussed on Biden.

The republicans let the dems change to many state laws regarding mail in voting and voter identification.

Fraudulent or no there were actions and events that took place that sure appear to be fraudulent. Still waiting too see the hard evidence he says he has.

There was no single reason for Trump's loss. It is a combination of many factors. Trump has always been his own worst enemy. Had they run the same strong campaign they had against Hillary and we had not had covid we wouldn't be having this discussion.

That's just my opinion, change my mind.

Trump is not the most perfect human ever created by God. Biden is also his own worst enemy and that goes for Hillary as well.

I’m afraid that’s an argument that applies to every one of us too.

But I don’t blame this “loss” on Donald Trump simply because he could have done better. He was the victim of a massive organized fraud that had been in the planning stages for a long time. It was not a one-party action either.

Unfortunately, both parties have been happily stuffing ballot boxes across the nation for many decades. Not in every town mind you but certain places are notorious for this biz.

And another instance from the Philadelphia Inquirer to show that this is not about Trump.

I'm sorry, but you couldn't get people in 59 different precincts to even be able to agree exactly what time of the day it is, let alone all to vote for the same person.

Again, this has been going on since before Trump. So, it's not just about orange man bad.

And there is always still this.

Compared to some of ya'll Geezers I'm a young blood... that said I feel like I've been blessed with a world view larger than my age.

I was born in Bavaria in 1986 to an Army dad and a German mother. If you're a little crusty on history, that means I was born in WEST-Germany...as the wall and border to East Germany still existed at that point. My father was one of many soldiers tasked to patrol that boarder and help any East German's escape to the west. My best friend growing up until I moved back to United States in 2001 was from a small town on the east German side, and I got to hear first hand experiences of how much harder life was for her and the families on the eastern side, how they had to ration food, live off of boiled potatoes and canned meat for many days of the week, as well as live in constant fear of saying or doing the wrong thing lest be turned in to the KGB.

Surprisingly (or not, however you look at it) I was raised in a mostly liberal household, but neither of my parents were very outspoken about their politics so it was never on the forefront of my mind. Fast forward to 2008, this was the first Presidential election I was able to participate in... and since I was living in NYC at the time, I was still indoctrinated with mostly liberal values and political ideas, needless to say, my vote went for Obama... not because I knew anything about his politics, his framework for running or anything else for that matter... but purely because he wasn't a republican and I thought it would be cool to vote for the first black President.

I joined the Coast Guard just a few months after he was inaugurated and was given the fantastic opportunity to move to Alaska. Without trying to sound too dramatic, it changed my life. The breathtaking landscape, the secludedness and the people who tend to live and stay up there opened up my thoughts to what living "Free" really meant. I was lucky enough that my wife felt the same way and she too fell in love with the land. I had my first, second and third child in Alaska. As I i grew my family, so did my political views. I realized the importance of having the right to protect them from whatever harm may come their way, and that the best tool for that job was a firearm. I knew that I valued a political system that gave me the freedom to choose how I schooled my children and not be forcefed political junk regardless of its content. I knew that the less the a Government was involved with my life, the better I could make it.

I would consider myself a Libertarian on the political spectrum, and the reality of our current two party system means I feel like I have to make a choice between the two parties that best coincide with my values. I voted for Trump not because of his twitter feed, or his poor choice in words... I voted for Trump because he wasn't a politician that fit into the prescribed molds. Did I agree with all of his antics... no, but I know he was a pretty decent President all things considered.

I really enjoyed your history, sir.
My dad was in his 3rd year at the US Coast Guard Academy when Pearl Harbor was attacked.
The next day he was on patrol at the school w/ an '03 Springfield watching for Japs swimming into CT.

His first posts were in Whitehorse and the Aleutians setting up LORAN stations so the Navy could navigate the Pacific. Shhhhhh. It's secret.
Then later he was on Destroyers between Australia and Papua New Guinea.

I appreciated the sentence I quoted above.

Notice my signature is [this month anyway]:

Guard the coast, deliver the mail, then leave me the hell alone!

John, I agree with 99.999% of the video. The only part I don't was a comment he made about the law or lawmakers being stupid. Too many of us blow this stuff off that way. The fact is the lawmakers have an agenda and are hell bent on forcing gun owners to relinquish their firearms by any means necessary. It goes along with the globalists, hiding behind the U.N. hope to accomplish.

Had he said conniving I would have been in 100% agreement.

I agree meanstreak. I used to think the same thing, but have changed my opinion.

And thus, my signature line:

I used to think they made ignorant gun laws because they were stupid. Now I know that it is ATTRITION.
