What. Where’s the Mayor and city council ?
2 million new Mexicans will rebuild California, if the permits and plans can get done.
Unfortunately a lot of architects and engineers have left the state, because it’s so difficult to deal with the system here. The same goes for contractors, and so now we have a proliferation of newbies.
We can all guess what the quality will be like. Also getting plans thru the building department should be a serious hassle, with people lined up around the block.
The only thing that could possibly make this worse is if the building department itself had burned down.
