What percentage of the British people would stand up and cheer and sing in the streets if Donald Trump got rid of the British monarchy and sent all the Pakistanis back to Sandland?

I think there is that whole "NATO" thing we have to consider. ;) Personally, I'd like to see Ukraine allowed to join NATO and the US get out.

And while we're talking about useless organizations, I'd like to see the UN booted from NYC and the US and the tower turned into "affordable" housing... :D

I suspect the 50+ population of the UK would welcome getting rid of "all" the immigrants; however, that group likely will continue to support the King especially with William waiting in the wings. Lots of folks believe the UK will change rapidly under King William.

The British population is rapidly aging. In 2024, there are now 22 million people aged over 50 in England, equivalent to two in five of the total population and this is rapidly increasing: the population of people aged 50+ in England is projected to increase by 19.3% between 2024 and 2044 (an increase of 4.3 million people). The population aged 85+ is growing the fastest.

NATO is another question and I suspect the vast majority of the American people would like to get out of NATO which has been mainly supported for years by the American taxpayer.

The net worth of The House of Windsor is estimated at over $3 trillion. The Brits get taxed to death supporting their "royals", but for some reason they cling to that tradition regardless of present circumstances. Winston Churchill has to be spinning like a lathe in his grave.

I don’t pay very close attention to the UK. I know they have dreary weather, old castles, and London is being overrun by immigrants. I have never understood how the royals could stay in business this day and age. Even more perplexing to me is the number of Americans that are so tuned into what goes on over there.

The British Empire retains sovereignty over 15 distinct nations and equal legal entities including the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Antigua and Barbuda, The Bahamas, Belize, Grenada, Jamaica, Papua New Guinea, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Solomon Islands and Tuvalu.

I suspect the Monarchy is the only thing holding the "empire" such as it is today together.

Certainly isn't the British parliament or civilian leadership!
