Wow! That photo might leave me needing to see a doctor after more than four hours. :D

Nice haul!

nice stock pile LTB45! :)
i know you do a lot of shooting,

how long will that hold you over?

Not really hoarding in this case.
The price is only going up on components so this should get us through next weekend

Actually this should allow me to reload through this years and next years Trap season.
That includes Fall and Winter Skeet and Sporting Clays.
Trap shooters that reload always try to be supplied for as long as possible.
God Forbid if the season starts and you have no shells to shoot
THE WORLD WOULD COME TO AN END

Very nice score LTB45! Good thing your are in the friendly confines of MO where such a purchase is viewed in awe and not "what do you need that for?!"

I am in CT!
Surprised that the UPS guy did not have a police escort...LOL!

Hey LTB, what would you say your cost per target round runs you reloading? I have been thinking about getting a reloader but the Winchester super-x I have been buying for $0.28 a round. Is there a savings or is it just the pleasure of knowing your the one who loaded the round?

Winchester Super-X is that inexpensive?????

Wow!

LBT, it's never hoarding.... it's just a practical application of ones resources. I applaud you, Sir.

There are plenty of online reloading calculators available.
Years ago I used them to check my cost.
I dont check anymore since what I load is pretty much equal to higher priced Trap loads.
The good stuff runs about $8+ a box and my costs are well below that.
I was reloading at about $4 a box a couple of years ago, and even with the price increase for lead, I am still WELL under the $7 a box that you are paying for the Winchester you are shooting.

I reload for myself and my wife, and we shoot a ton of shells each year. This was most definitely started as a cost savings measure and still is, but I do really like heading into my "Dungeon" turning on the radio to the local country station and just "HIDING" down there reloading for hours at a time. It is my place to escape from the troubles of the world and is extremely therapeutic.

Well that "UPS Undercover FED" crapped his pants at my front door
My Pit hit the inside of the screen door like a Mack Truck as he was putting the big box on my steps.
Never saw a FED or UPS guy move so fast

That's what I figured, I would be getting a better quality round for the same or less. It is sounding more and more tempting, especially after BS that has gone on with ammo the first half of this year.

Bet that UPS guy needed some new underwear when he got back to his truck. Between the dog and the ammunition don't have to worry about delivery guys casing your house.
