This is only acceptable if you are British, Australian or Canadian or otherwise a member of the Commonwealth.

Because there it’s perfectly acceptable to say that you bought a “dicky shottie” but here you definitely wouldn’t want to say that you bought a “shoddy shottie.”

People would think you were speaking Jive.

I prefer Boomstick!

I would never say Shottie but it doesn't make me cringve

Shotgun. Fine

Scattergun. OK.

Doubt you can find a post besides this one where I wrote "shotty" if you looked through all of them.

Honestly, I don't really care if someone uses the term. I don't use it. I prefer "street howitzer" myself.........

:ripper:

If I answer the Poll with YES, does it means I like "Shottie" or does it mean it makes me cringe?

I'm like @MikeD and @cmcdonald . I don't say it but I don't care if someone else does.
Note: I am not a "shotgun master."

"Smoothbore" please. Yes, "shottie" does make me cringe a little. And I too have no idea which choice to make. "Yes" or "No". Take care. Tom Worthington
