Shuff's Mini G.... Garand Face Lift

Got her in today:

Shuff's Mini G conversion - M1 Garand modified to 16" barrel, modified op rod, modified follower arm... rebarreled to .308 Winchester

Dropped her in a laminated stock (had to relieve extra wood to get her to fit due to the spacer block inserted for the .308 conversion.... royal pain in the effing ass)

SEI muzzle break

Ultimak scout rail

Primary arms micro red dot

Tango Down red dot cover

Leather 1907 Sling... a Rossignol Original

Hopefully to sight in next weekend as long as the wind stays calm.

Tanker Garand with a modern twist. Still a little beefy at 10 pounds but the weight is more centered and not so much front heavy as it was before in a similar configuration.

Like I said, pain in the ass with this stock.

Did the tilt test with the stock on and the op rod was rubbing inside the stock. Sanded by hand for like 35 min and the damn thing was still getting hung up when it goes into battery.

So I picked up a Dremel tool and worked it out in 10 min. Love this thing.

Free floating op rod in the stock now.
