i just noticed that my speedfeed stock doesn't have a sling stud. it's not missing, there's no hole to thread one in.

In looking though their catalog, they only specifically list the sling stud mounting hole for specific models, although based on the pics some others appear to have an indentation there.
You may have to contact them to see if it was a mix up of if that is a model that does not have it. Doing a Google search turned up many hits where people were inquiring about how to drill and add a stud to their Speedfeed stock.
If you do it yourself make sure you do not use a stud that has a screw long enough to interfere with the functionality of the magazine tube built into the stock.
