SR O/U Problems

This is my first post, so here goes..

I just bought two Silver Reserve O/U 20 ga's and have been reading about a firing pin modification that was suppossedly made on these shotguns.. Can anyone tell me when the modification was made and at what serial numbers.. So far I like the shotguns, but have not heard of many problems with them. Please enlighten me..

It was generally an issue with models made up until the year 2007 although there have been some issues after that date.
