TriggerSafe

I bought some of these as an additional safety feature for me while handling / moving firearms. American made in Florida. I found that the shotgun unit also fit my Rossi RS-22 rimfire rifle.

The one for AR-15's fit my AR-10, but since the Smith & Wesson M&P Sport has ambidextrous safety, mag release and bold release, the mag release interferes ever so slightly with the TriggerSafe. A little trim with the Dremel will fix that without compromising the fit at all.

They're not very expensive so I bought one for the long guns I have.

I assume these simply snap on covers vice providing a traditional trigger lock device?

I guess if it makes you feel safer then it's worth the money.

Looks like replacing the pew pew tag with some 550 cord would be good so you don't misplace them.

They threw in the tags for free, since they didn't have any photos of one on an AR-10...which I provided. Using a 550 cord tether to prevent losing them was actually a suggestion they made. But FREE is my favorite F-word. ;)

I got them simply to have one more thing. The snap on covers might provide a slight additional margin of safety in addition to the regular procedures we all follow.

Plus I just like inexpensive functional gadgetry. :)
