Trying to mount a Crossfire 9x50 on Patriot 30-06

I've haven't really much scope mounting for quite some time (any gun maintenance for that matter!!) so pardon my ignorance.
I got a great deal on a Vortex 3-9x50 and I trying to mount in on my Patriot. AT first I used high rings, but I couldn't lower scope center enough to match laser (I laser site first before I take it to range). I tried some medium rings, but scope is making slight contact with barrel, I don't like that. Any ideas? Thousand thanks!!

I think you can get an angled rail to point the scope down to account for upward trajectory but that is more for reaching way out there, not sighting in. Can you see the laser dot in the scope? Maybe aim say like 2" high to account for the higher axis of the scope vs bore access?
