Vegas Shooting!

Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock wired $100,000 to an account in his live-in girlfriend’s home country of the Philippines in the week before he unleashed the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history, according to multiple senior law enforcement officials.

But while officials have confirmed that Marilou Danley was in the Philippines on Sunday when Paddock opened fire on a crowd attending a country music festival on the Vegas Strip, it was not known whether the money was for her, her family, or another purpose.

Danley, 62, who had traveled to Hong Kong on Sept. 25, could fill in some of the blanks when she returns to the U.S. on Wednesday, the officials said. Her arrival airport was not known.

"We anticipate some information from her shortly," said Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo. "She is currently a person of interest."

Paddock's still-stunned brother, Eric Paddock, said he suspects the money was to take care of Danley.

"One hundred thousand dollars isn't that huge amount of money," he said. "Condemn Steve for gambling. Steve took care of the people he loved. He made me and my family wealthy."

Paddock may have "manipulated her so that she was far away from this and had money," Eric Paddock added. "As he was descending into hell...he wanted to take care of her."

Meanwhile, senior law enforcement officials told NBC News that Paddock gambled with at least $160,000 in the past several weeks at Las Vegas casinos.

There were 16 Currency Transaction Reports, or CTRs, filed for Paddock in recent weeks. The Treasury Department and the IRS mandate that casinos file the reports for "each transaction in currency involving cash-in and cash-out of more than $10,000 in a gaming day."

It could not be determined from the reports whether Paddock won or lost or both on the days in question. But they do show there were multiple transactions.

Paddock had "the highest status" at Caesars Entertainment properties in Las Vegas, a source close to the investigation told NBC News.

The top level for gamblers is Seven Stars Tier Status, which is by invitation only and subject to alteration or cancellation, according to the company's website. Privileges include comped rooms, room upgrades, player credits and access to "signature experiences."

But Paddock gambled and lost in 2012 when he filed a slip-and-fall lawsuit against another Vegas casino, the Cosmopolitan Hotel. In fact, he was still owed $270 in court fees when he killed himself and 59 other people on Sunday.

Security video from the Cosmopolitan Hotel showed Paddock taking a tumble on Oct. 30, 2011, as he walked from a hotel shop toward a high-stakes area in the casino. He claimed he slipped in a puddle of liquid and initially sued for $100,000, according to the attorney for the hotel, Marty Kravitz.

Paddock claimed he had incurred more than in $32,000 in medical bills and also wanted to be paid for pain and suffering. The security video showed him getting medical attention and then being stretchered out of the casino.

The arbitrator disagreed and ruled in favor of the casino, dismissing the negligence allegations as "without merit."

"They always ask for a lot more than they can get, but he got nothing," Kravitz said.

In other developments, investigators have also found a sledgehammer and 13 suitcases in the 32nd floor room in the Mandalay Bay hotel that Paddock used to stage the slaughter, according to an internal law enforcement document seen by NBC News and senior law enforcement officials.

They believe Paddock used the tool to smash the two windows from which he opened fire on the concert-goers below with the arsenal of 23 firearms that were also found in the room. Another 19 firearms were found in Paddock's home in Mesquite, Nevada.

NBC reported earlier that police blew the door off Paddock's room and barged inside 72 minutes after the first 911 call. Inside, they found Paddock dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, but not Danley.

Lombardo credited local police and hotel security with the speed in which they reacted.

"What went right is we saved hundreds of lives," he said. "A lot more (deaths) were prevented."

Investigators believe Paddock and Danley started dating in spring 2017 and lived together in Mesquite. They do not believe she was involved in the shooting, although Paddock did have some of her identification on him, law enforcement officials have said.

Investigators still have not determined a motive for the mass murder. The death toll currently stands at 59 but officials have warned that could climb. More than 500 people were wounded.

"We have identified all but three victims," Lombardo said.

The Las Vegas gunman who killed nearly 60 people at a country music festival worked as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, an IRS agent and in an auditing department over a 10-year period.

A spokeswoman for the Office of Personnel Management told The Associated Press on Tuesday that Stephen Paddock's employment included about two years as a mail carrier from 1976 to 1978.

After that, he worked as an agent for the Internal Revenue Service for six years until 1984. And then he worked a defense auditing job for about 18 months.

The information helped complete the timeline surrounding the 64-year-old Paddock's life. He graduated from college in 1977 from Cal State Northridge and also worked for a defense contractor in the late 1980s.

I just noticed something about these pictures.

I am not going to include the graphic photo of this guy.

Look at the placement of these guns.

And notice where the ink pen is in relation to the letter.

And notice the magazines being placed on the left side of the purple pillar.

Was this dude left handed?

If so, the AR under him is placed differently than everything else in the room. Not to mention the one directly over the lower portion of his left leg looks strangely out of place too.

It think it is unlikely that it would "land" upright and while over his leg, even if he were holding it while in his left hand when the trigger was pulled from everyone thinking that the revolver laying on the floor behind him was used to commit suicide.

And if he was in fact left handed, seems counter-intuitive that he would continue to hold the AR in his dominant hand while using his (right) hand to commit suicide with.

Those pictures are not adding up.

Top picture, he's laying on a rifle, with one sitting nicely over his leg. Claimed suicide, head shot? Anyone that's put down an animal with a head shot, unless it's placed perfectly, knows the deceased doesn't lay down and stay there like in the movies. Bodies convulse.

I only say unless perfectly placed, because I had to put one of my old dogs down. And he did just lay down motionless. In my experience that is not the norm.

Some very interesting videos appearing on YT... several show what look like muzzle flashes coming from a room on the 4th floor, and a recording of a police dispatcher mentioning the 4th floor.
Another is a media interview with a young lady who said a Hispanic couple were moving through
the crowd saying "you're all going to die"... 40 minutes before the shooting started.

I'll go warm up the tin-foil hat again...

Why are the guns just randomly strewn around the room?

Lots of stuff about this just do not add up. As has been already mentioned, I am hearing nothing about this guy, we usualy know every minute detail of the shooters existance by now.

Mirrored glass windows make up the entire exterior of the hotel.

There are strobe lights from many many venues surrounding the strip in Vegas. Reflections coming off the mirrored glass could appear to be muzzle flashes but could be party strobes from across the street, or from the nearby airport, or practically anything.

The muzzle flash conspiracy theorists just need to let that crap rest.

I thought the same thing on the strobe flash theory.

Having multiple bedroom accomodations in the hotel while "alone" and having multiple windows broken out, I don't know about that.

Starting at 50 seconds into the body cam footage in the link below, also sounds like two different shooters.

I understand about echo and slapback, but these shots sound altogether different.

After the first short burst at :50 seconds, you'll hear the echo from it obviously, then another burst start and during this next burst, there are two separate sounding gunshots being fired and at two different rates of fire.

If the shooter was bump firing the gun, he would be unable to fire another gun with his other hand simultaneously. It doesn't work that way.

Hmmm. Legit?

Looks legit.

Other news said the girlfriend was already out of the country on the date stamp of the receipt. And this clearly said 2 guests.

Two windows....two shooters.....

? Don't know, but I always questioned that.

Coupled with what I can hear on the body cam footage.

I think it's safe to say that he wasn't eating alone for his entire hotel stay.

I'm not gonna say it...I know we're all thinking it. Because if what we suspect is true, it's almost too heinous for words. Makes me sick to my stomach what lengths some people will go to get control over others.......

Some of the things posted here earlier would lead a thinking person to this possible conclusion.

She must be getting slow in her old age. I didn't think it would take her this long.

20 and inserting ‘‘(o), or (v)’’.

Technically none of those parts convert a gun to a machine gun.

Not that it matters when it comes to passing and enforcing BS laws.

Edit, sorry misread that part, damn small screen on my phone!!

Would that not make it illegal to replace the trigger with anything having a lighter pull, shorter reset, etc? Or even oiling the damn thing?

I read this on another forum. A lot of what he said makes sense with the way that he broke it down.

The "portrait" of who ever that is is really wrong.
over 90 % ofthe blood is not coagulated. Blood coagulates in 3 minutes or less NO ifs ands or buts about it.
It's science, math, and physics.

His right shoulder shows lividity on the collar bone on top no less. lividity doesn't set in for 6+ hours and always pools low to the floor thanks to gravity.
Again math, science, physics. All real things they use to determine time of death and lividity is often used to tell is a body has been moved post mortem.
Also no over pressure signs from eating a bullet and the popped eye and pool of blood are indicative of forceful blunt trama to the rear of the skull.
No brain matter just blood.

These are things that they use in courts to put people away for a long time.
Not just shit I'm making up.

His pic is crystal clear the rest are blurry...

Anyone that has done a true for real stand up in court evidence collection or scene assessment investigation will spot this stuff and know it for what it is.
So Either snoops is right the photo is faked ( again it's crystal clear the rest fuzzy at best)

Or he's the 1st person to kill his self lay flat on his back for 72 minutes while blood lays un coagulated post mortem 3 minutes,
had lividity set in 180 degrees to gravity in 72 minutes instead of 6+ hours.

And also not suffer from point blank over pressure with no spatter or grey matter in any of the pix just a slow draining pool.
That is what causes a pool of blood the slow continual release of blood. Again science, math, physics.

Make of it what you want.

I have a problem with the pix plain and simple. things are not right with them.

Arfcom is mentioning that there is video of the killer performing the act on live stream or there is a confession video that leads this killing to be politically motivated. May come out in a day or so. Talking about police may be following up on leads to snatch up any other people involved.
