VTAC 2 -- Two point sling

I use a two point quick disconnect on my AR. I wanted to use the same thing on my 590A1 so I added a mag tube extension clamp to the front end and one of these to my Hogue stock.

It's fairly easy to install in any hollow stock. Here are some closeup pictures of the mount installed.

I followed (roughly) these instructions for installation of the mount in the stock. Was a little more difficult without easy access on the back. I wanted to mount it a little higher on the stock but I was worried it would not clear my chin given how short the 12" LOP Houge stock is.

I couldn't decide if my sling was long enough to reach around my back and all the way to the front of the stock. I'm not really a fan of having the sling in front of my face when shooting either.

I didn't see any pictures of this mount reading through the old posts. Has anyone here used a mount like this?

I really like your setup. I haven't put a sling on my 88 yet, but it is next on the list.

I use a similar concept, the Elzetta quick detach with swivel on the left and a Fenix TK15 Flashlight on the right side of my barrel. I was also concerned about bringing my Vtac sling around to far to the front so I went with their buttstock adapter on the back. Like your rig..

Nice work - looking at the other option I'd say you made the right call. I've been thinking about a sling for my 930 - this could definitely work!

The only thing I don't like about this rig (now that I have had more time to use it) is that since I mounted the attachment point low on the stock, the shotgun rolls forward when I have the weight of the shotgun resting on the sling.

You may want to consider the VTAC buttstock adapter to get a better balance point for a diagonal front carry position. It has worked well for me on my SPX. Not sure if you would have to mod your limbsaver however. Could give them a call. I found their customer service to be outstanding when I spoke to them.
