I took this pic from my front window today. These ladies were 15 feet from my porch at noon, grazing gradually down-slope toward the creek. The whole flock that gathers back in my timber amounts to a couple dozen when they all roost up together.
There are a couple dozen living in a thickly wooded area at the end of our street. I see them grazing on the side of the road just about every morning...
That's awesome! The only thing wild for the kids and I today was finding a toad and watching a praying mantis eat a spider when we were hunting crickets and grass hoppers to fish with. Didn't get anything fishing either.
