This is for folks who have a Win 9422 lever gun or similar.
I put one of these hammer extensions on my rifle a while back. Discovered today, while getting in a little practice, that the extension can cause a problem. After a few rounds it slips and interferes with the bolt carrier. It was tightened down and properly positioned but still slips enough to cause a problem. This means that chambering the next round is unreliable. While the extension has some limited usefulness when a scope is mounted, I'd recommend not installing it. It could probably be filed down to eliminate the interference, but why bother?
